La sciarpina, o per meglio dire lo scaldacollo, a uncinetto tunisino è terminato e devo dire che è proprio carino. Alcune note sull'uncinetto tunisino:
1) usate un uncinetto enorme. Ma veramente enorme. Ho lavorato una lanetta sottile da calzini con l'uncinetto 5 mm, ed ho una mano morbida...
2) E' facile e gratificante, vuole poca concentrazione ma non è tedioso. Date un'occhiata ai lavori finiti sul gruppo Ravelry di Tunisian Crochet per farvi un'idea delle possibilità e dei punti.
3) I bordi tendono ad arrotolarsi. Ecco perchè l'ho inumidito e arrotolato nel verso opposto alla curvatura naturale. Funziona.
4) Io ho montato 20 punti e sono riuscita a lavorarlo con un uncinetto normale. Certo per lavori più grandi ci vuole quello specifico da punto Tunisi.
Adesso devo solo fermare il filo volante e attaccare due bottoncini.
My scarflet, ehm... neckwarmer, in tunisian crochet is done and I must say that it's really nice. Notes on tunisian crochet:1) use a huge hook. Huge means HUGE. I worked a fingering weight yarn with a 5 mm hook, and I have a loose tension in my hand...
2) it's easy and rewarding, mindless but not boring. Give a look on Ravelry's projects in the Tunisian crochet group to have an overview of the hundreds of possibilities and diverse stitches.
3) Hems tend to curl a lot. This is why I have damped it a bit and rolled in the opposite direction of curling. It works.
4) I casted on 20 sts and succeeded in working with a normal hook. Of course, for bigger projects it will be necessary the tunisian hook.
Now I just need to sew in the loose ends and attach two buttons.
