Aderisco (I support) (pant, pant...)

I'm used to go at work by bike, carrying one of my two kids on a back seat to leave him at school, while my husband carries the other one. We all wear helmets, and we are proud of our moving philosophy in spite of people smiling at us, as we are considered "a very odd family". Palermo is not exactly a city for cyclists, given the lack of destined tracks in the centre, and the refuse of drivers to recognize the cyclist as a subject with the same right to move on the streets that they have. The point is that the cyclist is normally silently moving, rather slow (because he do really like to cycle, so why to rush), and happy. This is like smoke in drivers' eyes, who are polluting, noisy, nasty - well, some of them are because they're trapped in the traffic -. In the end, cyclists are usually city victims, even physically given the high rate of accidents in which they are involved. This is the reason why I'm so glad to support this campaign launched by The Times:
The Times Cities fit for cycling
hoping that people will understand that cycling is one of the most effective actions to make our towns more livable.
