Palline di Natale (Christmas balls)

La signora del negozio dice che a dispetto dell'etichetta si devono lavorare coi ferri 3 1/2, 10 punti e tre gomitoli, maglia rasata o legaccio, e la sciarpa è fatta. Proverò.

Aggiornamento del 3/01/2010: smentisco la signora del negozio, l'ho lavorata coi ferri 6 mm, perfetta.

The owner of the yarn shop says that they must be knitted with n. 3 1/2 mm. needles, in spite of label directions: 10 sts in st st or garter st and tre balls, and the scarf is done. I'll try.

01/03/2010 Update: don't follow the yarn shop owner! I've knitted it with size 9 (6 mm) needles, it's perfect.
